Brunching in London

Good morning everyone 🙂

It’s Sunday so I think the most relevant topic this morning should be brunch!

Brunch is my favourite meal of the week and one of my favourite hobbies- I love scouting google for London’s best brunch spots.

I’m also obsessed with Eggs Royale- I’ll admit I usually always order this meal. The combination of poached eggs, smoked salmon and a toasted English muffin (and let’s not forget about the essential topping: hollandaise sauce) is the best combination of flavours my taste buds could ask for.

For the purposes of this blog and my food exploration both in the UK and abroad, I will aim to to become more adventurous in my blog choices.

Here are my top three favourite brunch meals (I’ve made sure that only one of the restaurants on this include Eggs Royale as I assume not everyone is a fan!)

1. The Garden Breakfast at The Ivy, Chelsea Garden

This gem of a meal pictured above is the restaurant’s vegetarian take on an English Breakfast. No, I am not vegetarian ,but I’ve never really like the Full English and this plate includes just about all of my favourite foods: avocado, halloumi, poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms.

2. Eggs Royale at L’ETO CAFE

I can’t rant on about my love for Eggs Royale (I even mention them in my Q&A section) and not give them any proper recognition. The best spot for Eggs Royale in London is L’ETO CAFE.

A photo says 1000 words and I think this photo says everything. If you love poached eggs and salmon as much as I do- check this place out, you won’t regret it!

3. Smoked Salmon Crepe at The Boulangerie, Joie De Vie

Leave Central London and visit zone 4 in North London for some of the best crepes you will ever have- I guarantee it!

This Perisian inspired cafe has a wide array of crepe flavours to choose from, and my heart always desires the smoked salmon crepe. Also filled with cream cheese and drizzled with lemon, this is the perfect combination of savoury flavours.
