Hi all 🙂
So in one of my latest Discovery GemZone post’s, I shared some of my favourite celebrity beauty videos. Some of these included videos by Byrdie, in which they asked celebs to share their top 5 favourite beauty products.
So I have decided to start the #byrdiechallenge and share my top 5 beauty products (skincare and make-up!) .Check them out below, and I’d love to find out about what all of your beauty must-haves are 🙂
I feel like this cleanser should be in everyone’s cabinet because it is simply so effective, gentle on your skin, refreshing, easy to use, and cheap.
This no rinse cleanser is great at removing make-up, whether it be foundation or mascara, and you can use it on every surface of your face including eyes and lips. Even though I double cleanse, I’m confident this product does more than enough at keeping my face clean for the evening on nights where I’m just feeling too lazy to do a long skincare routine. I also like wiping this on in the morning before I do my make-up and put on my day creams.
I hear Bioderma’s cleanser is super popular for basically doing the exact same thing, but it’s twice the price and you get much less product (Garnier gives you 400 ml and Bioderma is 100 ml). Additionally, you can purchase a 125ml version for £1.
I love multi-purpose products, because it means less product on my face and it cuts down my night time skincare routine significantly, and like my Garnier Micellar water, this is another great product for nights I want to get my skin sorted in 2 minutes so I can go to bed.
I always use this serum as the last step in my nighttime skincare routine, and one of its many benefits is that it works as a moisturiser. It is incredibly hydrating and makes your skin feel very soft and smooth, what more could you ask for?
It’s cheap, it’s moisturising, and it includes SPF which really is a daily essential must regardless of the weather. This is a no fuss product that delivers what it promises.
So I only have two products left on my list, and now that I’ve gotten the essential skincare must haves out of the way, that leaves me with make-up.
I’ve chosen this nude pink Nars lipstick because just like everything else on my list so far, it’s multipurpose. Not only is the colour beautiful and wearable from day to evening, but it is also the perfect shade of blush which you can dab on your cheeks for a subtle tinted pop of colour.
You guessed it, another multi-purpose product is on my list. Not only does this mascara create dark thick lashes, but it also curls them for you, therefore making the need of an eyelash curler obsolete.
I would like to nominate 5 bloggers I follow to participate in this challenge, I have chosen the following blogs because I enjoy their content and these bloggers have great beauty tips! (please do not feel obliged to participate in this if you have been nominated :))
So what would your top 5 beauty essentials be? Feel free to share the #byrdiehcallenge on your own blogs, or sound off on the comments below! As always, feel free to drop me a line below 🙂
